4Cs

Diamond Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight are collectively termed the 4Cs – the factors that, when combined, define a diamond’s quality and ultimately determine its value. GIA created the 4Cs of Diamond Quality, which has become the universal method for assessing the quality of any diamond, anywhere in the world. The creation of the 4Cs means that diamond quality can be communicated in a universal language so diamond purchasers know exactly what they are buying.

GIA Trained Staff

In addition to carrying GIA-graded diamonds, Rhys James offers professional GIA-trained staff in-house to help guide you with your purchase decisions. We value our client’s input and are always delighted to answer any questions you may have in the search to find your perfect diamond.

Investment Diamonds

Our investment diamond division Rhys James Private Client Services, was established in 2010 to explore investment diamond sales opportunities on behalf of clients in Australia and Asia, following renewed interest in alternative assets from private and institutional investors, private banks and family offices. We are affiliated with Antwerp-based Pluczenik Diamond Company NV, one of the world's oldest and most highly regarded diamantaires and De Beers DTC sight holders.
